Indicator metadata
- Definition
- The aggregate of financial, material and reputational losses arising from damage to transformer substations and interruption of electricity supply. They are divided into three main categories: direct damage, downtime losses and indirect costs.
- Calculation method
- Direct damage (Упр): Упр = Ср + Сд - Си where Ср is the cost of repair or replacement of equipment (at prices at the time of the outage); Сд is the cost of dismantling; Си is the value of residual materials suitable for further use. Damage from electricity not supplied (Унд): Унд = Wнд × Tнп where Wнд is the volume of electricity not supplied (kWh) during the outage (determined on the basis of average consumption); Tнп is the specific damage for a particular sector (loss per 1 kWh not supplied), or the applicable tariffs. The indicator is calculated annually.
