Indicator metadata

Definition: Area of pastures subject to soil erosion, expressed as a percentage (%)
Calculation method: The total area of pastures subject to erosion (separately for wind and water erosion) is estimated as the sum (km²) of slight impact + moderate impact + severe impact + very severe impact. Share of pastures affected by erosion (%) = area of pastures subject to erosion (separately for wind and water erosion)/total area of pastures. The indicator is calculated once every five years.
