- A key environmental and statistical indicator of the performance of wastewater disposal (sewerage) systems, which reflects what proportion of all collected wastewater undergoes full treatment to a state that is safe for nature.
- Calculation method
- The indicator is calculated as the ratio of the volume of wastewater treated by full biological treatment (including tertiary treatment) to the total volume of wastewater, multiplied by 100%. The indicator is calculated annually.
