- These are hydrological and geological disasters in which a fast-moving mud-and-stone flow breaches or washes away protective, retaining or engineering dams.
- Calculation method
- The number of dykes destroyed as a result of mudflows is estimated on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of hydrodynamics, Earth remote sensing and instrumental surveys. The indicator is calculated annually.
