Methodology

Indicator metadata

Definition
The indicator reflects the total number of approved and enacted building norms, rules, codes of practice, methodological recommendations and standards governing the design, construction and operation of buildings and structures that have been officially revised, updated and approved taking into account contemporary climate change.
Calculation method
The indicator is calculated by direct administrative recording and summation of documents. At the end of the reporting period, the total number of regulatory and methodological documents in the field of construction and architecture that have undergone the full updating procedure is counted. A document is recognized as revised only if amendments have been officially made to its text on the basis of verified climate data of the Hydromet Agency and the regulatory act itself has been registered and put into effect by order of the relevant state committee. The indicator is calculated annually
Institution responsible for calculation
Committee for Architecture and Construction under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan
