- Definition
- Greenhouse gas emissions of anthropogenic origin, which result from human activities and are expressed in CO₂ equivalent. They include emissions of methane (CH₄), nitrous oxide (N₂O), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), sulphur hexafluoride (SF₆) and nitrogen trifluoride (NF₃).
- Calculation method
- The information is compiled for the following sectors: agriculture, energy, waste, industrial production, land use and forestry, in accordance with the methodology of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change).
